About Us
Footpath Films is run by Joe Murphy and Paul Angear, two young filmmakers from North London. Building on more than five years experience of producing films and film workshops, Footpath Films was set up in 2007 to deliver high-quality, low-cost productions and workshops catering for a broad client base.
Filmmaking For All
Our production team has substantial experience of working with vulnerable adults and young people including looked after children, young offenders, people with disabilities, refugees and asylum seekers.
We aim to encourage people from all walks of life to engage in the filmmaking process, and to use it to either provide a platform for their views to be heard, or to develop their creative skills in a rewarding and supportive environment.
Our production staff are fully Criminal Records Bureau checked and approved prior to working with any vulnerable person.
Commercial Productions
For our commercial clients, Footpath Films aims to deliver a complete, high production value, project at a very competitive price. Making the most of the latest filmmaking technologies, we aim to put as much of the production budget on-screen as possible, streamlining the production process, and delivering projects quickly and professionally.
We have a history of working with some of the finest production staff in the country, many of whom are graduates of leading film schools such as The National Film and Television School.
Bespoke
We have tried to give guide prices for our projects throughout this site, but if you have a project idea which you do not feel fits one of these, please do get in contact with us. We would love to hear your project idea and will be able to give you a costing tailored to your individual needs.
