Term-time Workshop

Our Term-time Workshops offer the same complete filmmaking experience from the 5 day Workshops, but they are delivered in five 2 hour after-school sessions and a 2 day weekend shoot. The participants are provided with all of the skills needed to start producing high quality films, and get the chance to work with professional filmmakers to create their own 10 minute short film.

The Term-time Workshop includes:

  • Basic camera skills (focussing, camera movement, white balancing, etc)
  • Advanced camera techniques (tracking using a dolly, 3 point lighting, etc)
  • Boom operating and sound recording
  • A full film shoot (directing, acting to camera, etc)
  • Preproduction techniques (script writing, storyboarding, rehearsing, etc)
  • Basic editing skills
  • Postproduction techniques (Artwork design, publicity materials, etc)
  • An introduction to film terminology
  • An overview of key aspects of film production

    • Our Term-time Workshops are available for £2750, and include the production of a 10 minute short film which will be available for viewing on this website. All participants will also receive a copy of their film on DVD.
